The short version
Nothing you type into the free tools is sent to us. The residency calculator runs entirely in your browser and saves your trips in your browser's local storage so you can come back to them; clearing your browser data removes them. prcard.ca has no accounts, no sign-in and no email list.
What we collect
We do not collect names, dates of birth, UCIs, travel dates or any of the information you enter while using the site.
If site analytics are enabled, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you. We see totals such as "this page was viewed 120 times", never a person.
Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes your IP address to deliver the pages and to protect against abuse, as any website host does. We do not store server logs about you.
Links to other sites
Every rule on this site links to its source on canada.ca, the PR Portal or another Government of Canada site. Those sites have their own privacy practices. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives a request from your browser when a page loads.
Paid services
prcard.ca currently offers no paid services and processes no payments. If that changes, this page will describe exactly what is collected and why before anything is collected.
Canadian law
prcard.ca is operated in Canada and follows the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Because we hold no personal information about you, there is nothing to access, correct or delete; if you believe otherwise, write to us and we will respond within 30 days.
